LayerLens Live ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android application LayerLens Live: Web & USB Cam collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our app and connected live streaming services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to deliver live streaming functionality and manage app features:

• Account Information: When you sign in using Google / YouTube or Facebook, we collect your unique account ID and registered email address to identify your account and manage streaming access.
• Camera & Microphone Data: LayerLens Live accesses your device's built-in cameras, connected USB cameras (UVC), and microphone to capture real-time audio and video for your live streams. Audio and video are processed locally on your device and streamed directly to your selected broadcast destination.
• Screen Capture Data: LayerLens Live uses Android Screen Capture / Media Projection to encode your overlay view into live video. Screen data is processed locally on-device and is never stored on our servers.
• Web Overlay Addresses: Web URLs entered or searched by you to display overlay scoreboards or web pages are stored locally on your device.

2. YouTube API Services & Google User Data

Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly for the following purposes:

• To authenticate your identity and authorize live stream creation on YouTube and Facebook.
• To transmit real-time RTMP video and audio feeds to your chosen streaming platform.
• To maintain user access records and early adopter account statuses in Firebase Cloud Firestore.
• To improve app stability, performance, and user experience.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information or Google/YouTube user data to third parties or advertising networks. Data is shared only with the following service providers as required for app operations:

• Google / YouTube API Services: Used for account sign-in and creating YouTube Live broadcasts.
• Facebook Graph API / Login SDK: Used for account sign-in and creating Facebook Live broadcasts.
• Firebase Cloud Firestore (Google Cloud): Used as a secure serverless database to record account IDs and access statuses.

5. Data Retention & Revocation

We retain your account ID and email address in Firebase Cloud Firestore for as long as necessary to maintain your account access status.

You can revoke LayerLens Live's access to your Google Account at any time via the Google Security Settings page.

6. Data Deletion Requests

If you wish to request the deletion of your account records or user data from our databases, please contact us at support@soaringeagle.app. Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete your stored account records within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

LayerLens Live is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
